Senior Vice President, Mission and Ministry
Steve joined Centura Health in 1997 as senior vice president for the Rocky Mountain Adventist Health System. In this role, he serves all of Centura's four Adventist hospitals in the Greater Denver region.
Steve received a bachelor's degree from Long Beach State University. He attended the master's program in corporate organization / leadership at LBSU and in theology / religious studies at Pacific Union College. In 1977, he received a master's degree in the New Testament and Ethics from Andrews University where he also initiated a doctorate degree in education.
Steve served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War before joining Corporation Trust Systems, Inc. as a business organization executive.
Steve has been active in his community and church in a variety of ways. He served as chair for the Avista Adventist Hospital board of trustees. He was a member of the Veterans National Commission for Human Rights, Trustee for Rocky Mountain Adventist Healthcare System and board chair for Community Mediation Concepts. Steve has also founded a mentoring program for Christian executives.
Steve is a recognized speaker and author and serves as a leader for the Adventist International Medical Mission program sponsored by Centura Health.
