(LOUISVILLE)— Avista Adventist Hospital is hosting a free seminar on pain management Tuesday, August 28, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Lief Sorensen, MD, a pain specialist at Dimensions Pain Management, will be the featured speaker and will discuss the latest non-surgical methods used for treating and managing pain.

Dr. Sorensen holds a medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and did his residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph Medical Center, Denver, Colo. He then completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is board certified in interventional pain management and anesthesiology, and has special interest in creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual need.
